Healing through compassionate connection

You may have been taught - whether intentionally or not - that your emotions are “too much.” That your thoughts and feelings are so overwhelming and that something must be “wrong” with you. Because of this, you have learned to suppress yourself in order to stay safe in the world around you, and conform to other’s needs. Perhaps now, after living so long like this, you feel lost or disconnected from your inner world - the rich place that contains all of your thoughts, feelings, and sensations - and you are noticing that something is missing from your life. You might feel your emotions are terrifying to you, and that you wish you could escape from them. I want to help you explore this inner terrain, and discover how you can let rest the parts of you that are still struggling with suppression, overwhelm, and disconnection from self, in order to find room for the pieces of you that deserve life to be breathed back into them.
